When you choose Ceci Portraits, you are investing in a fully customized, luxury portrait experience and in fine art imagery created to be enjoyed for generations. Every detail is thoughtfully planned so you feel confident, supported, and beautifully seen from beginning to end.
1. Consultation & Planning
Your experience begins with a personalized consultation, either in our private Chula Vista studio or via Zoom. This is where we design your session together.
During this meeting, we discuss:
- Styling, wardrobe, and professional hair and makeup
- Props, textures, and custom set design
- Location selection or studio concepts
- Your vision for final artwork in your home
You’ll have the opportunity to view and feel product samples, explore wall art and album options, and plan how your finished portraits will be displayed. Whether you’re envisioning a statement piece for your home or an heirloom album to pass down, this consultation ensures every detail is aligned before your session day.
2. the Portrait session
Your session takes place either in our private studio or at a carefully curated location chosen specifically for you. Throughout the session, you are fully guided, from posing and expression to lighting and movement — so you never feel unsure or uncomfortable.
Sessions are relaxed, unhurried, and entirely focused on you. With years of experience and a calm, supportive approach, you’ll feel confident, comfortable, and at ease. Studio sessions may last up to three hours, allowing time for adjustments, breaks, and a natural flow.
For parents of newborns, comfort is especially important. You’re welcome to rest in our waiting area while your baby is gently photographed, knowing they are in experienced, caring hands.
3. portrait reveal & Artwork Design
Your portrait reveal is your viewing and ordering appointment; the moment your images are presented in a beautifully curated slideshow and gallery.
During this session, we work together to:
- Select your favorite images
- Design wall art, albums, and custom pieces
- Ensure your artwork complements your home and lifestyle
As a full-service photographer with a strong eye for design, I guide you through product selection so your portraits feel cohesive, intentional, and timeless. This is an important step in the process, and all decision-makers should be present.
4. delivery & Installation
The final step is bringing your portraits home.
Once your artwork is complete, we’ll arrange pickup or delivery. Installation assistance is available, ensuring your pieces are displayed beautifully and securely. Seeing your images finished, printed, and on your walls is often the most rewarding part of the experience.
Your portraits are meant to be lived with, enjoyed daily, shared with loved ones, and cherished for years to come.
